Re: Home charger installation

I'm lucky, we have three phase here, so both cars can charge side by side. I'm another person who 'asked' my wife to apply for chargepoint #2, and we went for the rather quirky and amazing Zappi, so we can charge off the solar panels here in - eh-hem - sunny Lanarkshire. Have to say, we were very pl...

Re: Kona 64kWh

6000 miles on the clock now, and the Kona is exceeding my expectations: this is an EV that performs like a sports car, or a city car, or a GT: whatever you throw it at, from long distance motorways to twisty mountain roads, it just excels, effortlessly.

Re: Dead , innit?

Yup.
It's dead.
I tried my best: using all kinds of cheapskate Tabloid tricks to raise the circulation (and the blood pressure), but sadly. all efforts failed.~
RIP
Facebook wins.
Lets close it down.

Re: Dead , innit?

I think we need to be more combative: there are some dark forces out there: odd people who huddle in car parks, and rather than attempt to make peace with them: we would have a more lively discourse if we just took them by the neck and strangled them: just for fun, it would bring back some dialogue ...

Re: Kona 64kWh

2500 miles since 27th May: and the Kona is still like driving a dream: I've a few minor quibbles, but mainly because there is so much new tech like paddles and autopilot stuff to get your head around and the acceleration is eye-poppingly startling: but yes, I have had five adults in there, and yes, ...

Re: Dead , innit?

OK: well, here is my revival attempt: my feeling is that maybe a face to face regular social might work better, where social media fails: Stephen Rhoden and I have been chatting online, and this is what we came up with as a suggestion: it may work, it may not, but it is worth a try. I wonder if EVAS...

Lets close this forum down: nobody can be bothered with it anymore. Facebook and Twitter are fine.

Re: Kona 64kWh

I just used Ecotricity (and the granny charger) : got good results at both Kinnington Lake and Stafford.
Blown away: to do a 360 mile trip in one stop coming home is a revelation. And at a steady 70 mph on autopilot too!

Re: Kona 64kWh

Off next weekend to Cheltenham, with a side trip to Heathrow: that should test the range and functions quite well, I think. Nearly 1,000 miles in 4 days. Looking foorward to it, but a bit nervous of the Ecotricity ones, will try some other rapids.
