Re: Kona 64kWh

Google the Lidl chargers on your route. They are pod point and free.

That's all I used once I left Scotland. Knaresborough and Norwich were particularly good.

Re: Public Charging Problems Log

I tried ecotricity chargers at Scotch Corner and they didn't work. I have heard they have been rolling out an update and some are working now, but I will stick with the Lidl ones when I head south. They were great for us back in Feb.

Re: Kona 64kWh

That's great to hear. I have to say, my experience with the Kona has been fantastic. I enjoyed driving my Leaf, but having 250-300 miles of range and all the toys makes for a far more enjoyable experience. I didn't even realise I had range anxiety until I didn't have it anymore. Even driving from Ab...

Re: Kona 64kWh

So what's the verdict?? Have you managed to collect it yet?

That's me almost 5000 miles in and still loving it. Couple of niggles but nothing too serious. Have a distinct sense of feeling unshackled after the Leaf. :D

Re: Aberdeen(Westhill) to Great Yarmouth(Gorleston)

I wouldn't have the resolve to undertake that journey in either my old leaf of a 30kWh one. Hat off to you.
Yes Gorleston to Knaresborough was the longest leg 207 miles with 9 miles left on the GOM.

Re: Aberdeen(Westhill) to Great Yarmouth(Gorleston)

Almost forgot, the weather was bloody horrendous with a strong headwind to Penrith and 2 degree temps. Not to mention the snow, sleet and driving rain all the way to Glasgow. Lets just say, my determination and nerves arent strong enough to ever try that in my old Leaf.
