Re: Aberdeen(Westhill) to Great Yarmouth(Gorleston)

I wouldn't have the resolve to undertake that journey in either my old leaf of a 30kWh one. Hat off to you.
Yes Gorleston to Knaresborough was the longest leg 207 miles with 9 miles left on the GOM.

Re: Aberdeen(Westhill) to Great Yarmouth(Gorleston)

Almost forgot, the weather was bloody horrendous with a strong headwind to Penrith and 2 degree temps. Not to mention the snow, sleet and driving rain all the way to Glasgow. Lets just say, my determination and nerves arent strong enough to ever try that in my old Leaf.

Aberdeen(Westhill) to Great Yarmouth(Gorleston)

So, just returned from a trip to Goreston, just outside Great Yarmouth and whilst the car performed well, I have to say the trip was a little hairy. Not sure why the electric Highway chargers don't like the Hyundai Kona but they just refuse to connect or charge. Trip went Westhill (home 100%)- Abing...

Re: Kona 64kWh

What's the latest on your Kona Scally? Any improvement on the 19th March delivery?

I'm still in Love with mine. A couple of minor irritations but I can live with them.

Planning a trip to great Yarmouth from Aberdeen in early march. just hoping the charging infrastructure doesn't let me down. :?

Re: Energy Saving Trust Grants

They were advised two weeks before the car arrived that it was arriving and still hadn't paid the money into my account. As you know, Click to buy want paid three days before delivery, so I was stuck. I contacted Bank of Scotland who advised paying my savings into my credit card in advance to give m...

Re: Energy Saving Trust Grants

It gets better. They want a screenshot of the money being paid into my account and being paid out to the dealer.

Re: Energy Saving Trust Grants

Wait for it..... I got a letter today telling me I have to send them a copy of my receipt for the payment mde for my car.

Given I didn't receive one from the dealer (and he's advising since I paid through click to buy he can't provide one) I'm not sure how I go about satisfying that requirement.

Re: Energy Saving Trust Grants

1. You will need to get an invoice from your dealer to send to them for your car. If you are using click to buy, they wont give you one, so you have to rely on the delivery dealer helping you. Your order and deposit isn't enough. 2. Once you have your invoice sent to them, they then have to contact ...

Energy Saving Trust Grants

Has anyone else had issues organising and receiving the Energy saving trust Grant?

I have had nothing but problems since applying for funding.

After assurances from them it was straightforward and would be paid on time, it has been painful and is now overdue.
