I see the WLTP range on both the Kona and the Niro are being cut following errors made during their testing.

Re: Anywhere I can get PTC heater fixed in Scotland?

If you pop over to Speak EV there is a thread on that. Theres a guy Mike Schooling based in Worcestershire who does repairs, I'm not suggesting you go all the way there, but he may be able to give you the name of someone who can do it nearer home, or give you advice. From what I can see its a pig of...

Re: Kona 64kWh

I was really lucky too, one of the guys at work bought a new house which had a mennekes charger in the garage. He took it out and I Gave him £100 for it . So My Type 1 (Leaf) to Mennekes adapter isn't really needed except when I visit my folks.

Re: Kona 64kWh

I would have liked to have kept my leaf. But the EST required that you didn't already own an EV to qualify for the government interest free loan. Definitely a case of demand outstripping supply. With all the good press its been getting you had to be quick off the mark to get it. I've been lucky and managed to get mine ordered to arrive early 2019. If I can just get the energy saving trust loan application sorted out I will be laughing.

Re: Change in plug-in grant

So based on the link you posted I'll still get my £4500 grant for the Kona I ordered last month. That was a close call. How do we check that Hyundai have applied for the grant before November?

Re: Forum seems very quiet?

Scally, I suppose you could say its kinda a good thing that people aren't posting so much these days. Remember when we used to have the EV spotting section and people would say when they spotted EV's day to day. To begin with you'd get one post every couple of days then it became daft as they were e...

Re: Forum seems very quiet?

You could buy my 2014 Leaf for £7.5k

its got onboard 6.6kw charger, 48k, one (semi) careful owner.

I need to shift it before I can apply for my new car loan to buy my new Kona :)
