Re: I Key System Fault

I believe if you press the 'Start' button three times in quick succession this shuts the car down. It is intended for emergency isolation of the battery etc so might be irreversible!

So much for campaigning for all new houses to be fitted with EV charging as a way to encourage uptake.....

Kona 64kWh

So - thinking of trading the Leaf in for a 64kWH Kona but....

Does not seem like any UK Hyundai dealers are supplying this model yet. The Hyundai web site says you can order but with a 42 week wait. Hyundai UK says there are no cars to test drive in the UK.

Re: Leaf Sat Nav symbol

Found it.....if you read the manual enough! Yes it is to do with your address book. It is locations near you that you have put into the Sat Nav previously. The number displayed is simply the item number in the address book - so in the case above this is the address which is No. 21 on the address boo...

Re: Leaf Sat Nav symbol

Does not seem to be possible to click on it. I suppose there might be 21 rapid chargers in range but then it is a bit odd in that the symbol point to a particular location. I don't think I have charged at that many locations locally so probably not connected to an address book. Oh Well......

Leaf Sat Nav symbol

Anyone know what this symbol is? A place marker with a number usually in the 10's or 20's

Orange arrow added to highlight.

This often happens when the car if first driven in the morning. If you stop for a moment and then drive off again it often disappears. But sometimes th...

Re: Reduced range after service

Tyres make a massive difference. I fitted new tyres to my LEaf and the range has gone down. The original tyres fitted to the Leaf seemed much better than any replacements your can buy even if they are A rated. Also what is A rated for one manufacturer might have very different rolling resistance to ...

Re: Going Abroad

Thanks all. I think for the sake of a couple of charges I will just use EH at the motorway services. App downloaded and installed.

Going Abroad

Trip planned to England in the Leaf. Down the M6 to Cheshire. What is the deal with paying for charging. I know that Ecotricity charge £0.30p/kWh and I am OK with that. But is there anywhere off the motorway with free 50kW charging? If so what RFID cards are needed these days?
