Re: Travel: Edinburgh via newcastle ferry to Geneva

Hi, we are going to do the same at the end of December but in a leaf. We will take the type2 charge cable as well as the 'brick' and CYC, ecotricity and probably get the plugsurfing card for the Netherlands. From Edinburgh we are planning to take the A1 to Eyemouth, rapid charge. From there you hav...

Travel: Edinburgh via newcastle ferry to Geneva

Hi Folks! Any advice for us? We are travelling in December on our Ski trip with a Mitsubishi outlander PHEV. From Edinburgh via Necastle, Netherlands to Les Diablerets. Are there any routes that might give us more potential for recharging? What 'plastic' do we need? Any special cables? ANY advice wo...

I reckon I have a useable range of 80 miles in daylight and was hoping to charge around Dundee with maybe a wee top up before and after. As I have a 22KW inboard charger ca...

Thank you Adrian. Do most of the rapid charger have an AC side. We have just been up to IKEA and they have although nothing is working as yet..... Will contact them on Monday to ask when.

Re: Charger and Socket Types

Hello!
I am still a little confused. I have a Smart with 22KW inboard charging facility. I have a Type 2 lead. Although most Smart EVs are classified as or king with Fast chargers, can I use the Rapid network?.
