Re: Switched On Scotland refresh

you are referring to the original older doc the jun 17 refresh doc has no asda reference https://www.transport.gov.scot/media/39317/sct05174317501.pdf I suspect it is felt the bit about ASDA having installed 8 chargers, and planning many more in Scotland glossed over the destination charging debacle...

Re: Switched On Scotland refresh

lalalala rant alert . . . things that get repeated on here and other EV talkshops doesn't seem to rank a mention 1. How can we maintain our good charger network better. Using things/chargers that break less MTBF Getting the broke things fixed MTTR My 'personal EV experience' is that we ain't that go...

Re: Work charging - making it easier

oh, dear, highly frustrating, it would also be interesting to hear > from people who have a successful story on work place charging > how much these installs have came down in price ? some of the latest public charge point boxes look way way cheaper than early bombproof ones, plus installers must be...

Re: Nissan Dealer giving demo car for trial without a RFID card

unfortunately, the manufacturers and dealers sell ICE cars these new fandangled EV things are a new thing, small sales volume & for some brands the dealers are actually dis-incentivised, so your story is no surprise on saying that, the gold standard of yesteryears 'which' reports has exploded in...

Re: Economy 7 ... why must the peak charges be more than std tariffs ?

Economy 7 ... why must the peak charges be more than std tariffs ?

I don't really understand why must Economy 7 or some reborn tariff scheme, needs to penalise users with more expensive than other tariffs during the day. Okay, big energy might argue, well everyone would have E7 unless peak periods were surcharged, but er, why, its a competitive world and things hav...

Re: Nissan Dealer giving demo car for trial without a RFID card

oh dear, dear Dead simple garage has 1/2 or 3 cards, £20 deposit on taking demo, no real need/hassle to register de-register car with CPS demo1/demo2/demo3, its stressful enough learning the charging ropes for first timers, I'd take the customer to the nearest CPS rapid and make em get a test charge...
