NE Scotland Slowest to try electric cars

Interesting article in the Press Journal

Any ideas why we are bottom of the table ?

and Just a thought, many of us have bought our cars from down south ! is this reflected in this table ?

Really hate these published articles as they tell us almost nothing as there is no separation of different types of "EV".

I live in South East Scotland and like many as you say 2 of my 3 BEV purchases so far have been from very far down in South England. There is just more choice and selection down there, particularly if you are looking at used cars. And more choice/selection seems to also mean better pricing.

Because the figures are from the SMMT, and the P&J continue in their task of trying to denigrate ScotGov’s efforts to promote EV’s. The Data appears to come from supplying dealerships, rather than DVLA registrations, and many record leased vehicles based not on the driver, but the leasing co address.
