I've only ever seen a three pin option. The batteries are generally upwards of 9Ah at 36V. ( About 0.3-0.4kWh. ) Would be one hell of a USB port! Some bikes do offer a USB socket for charging your phone though.

Basically a mains socket, so no protection from theft. You wouldn't want to stray far. I didn't see one in use, but will keep my eyes open next time we're over and get some pics.
