6000 miles on the clock now, and the Kona is exceeding my expectations: this is an EV that performs like a sports car, or a city car, or a GT: whatever you throw it at, from long distance motorways to twisty mountain roads, it just excels, effortlessly.

So - time to upgrade the Leaf......Kona 64kWh or Tesla Model 3 (Long Range). There is about £10K difference in price. Is the Tesla worth it? The Jag iPace is another £10K on top of the Tesla so probably out of reach. One thing - I MUST have a tow bar even if this is restricted to 900Kg as per the Model 3 spec. Not clear if you can get a tow bar on the Kona?

Any thoughts?

Don't think there is an option for a towbar on either the Model 3 or the Kona. Jag may have.

Other than that, I can only speak for my Kona and say that its been great. If it hadn't come along, I'd probably have held on for the Model 3 and got it instead, but as it is I'm glad I chose it. I've now done 13k miles since mid January and have been delighted by the range. When I got my Leaf, I was disappointed that it didn't achieve as many miles as clained unless you drove it very carefully. The Kona has been the opposite ( or maybe just appears that way because of the range).
I opted to go for the 64kW Premium SE with everything on it and I love it.

Model 3 and the Jag can be ordered with a tow bar - that is certian. Good to hear that the Kona exceeds expectations. It is an option for me.
